Everybody always says that as a new years resolution that they will get fitter, eat better, lose weight or something along those lines, but how many of us actually do it? Probably about 2%. So why don't we ever achieve our goal? People always see the start of a new year as a time to become the best person they can be. Unfortunately in doing this they raise the bar too high, want to correct every area of their lives and don't leave room for mistakes.
I myself am guilty of doing this and because I set the bar too high when I can't jump it I feel like I have failed.
So this year instead of making resolutions I will set goals for myself, so that no matter how hard the journey is in the end I will feel accomplished. My goals for this year include: Passing my French test so I can go to France on exchange, actually going
to France on exchange, doing well in my exams, and being able to do a
pushup (I know pathetic right?).
Even though the title says "Goals not Resolutions" I do have one resolution for 2015, which is to be happy, and be grateful for what I have. Okay I lie I actually have more than one resolution but instead of making a bunch at the start of the year I will make one every month to slowly better myself, such as: Drinking more water, or being able to do a single pushup (I will let you know how that goes).
Anyway whatever resolutions/goals you set yourself remember to make them something you can and will achieve and don't forget to have a fantastic 2015.
Oh and don't forget to comment down below what your resolutions/goals are for 2015.
Bye for now, Chantelle
